Privacy Policy
Disability Rights Wisconsin (DRW) is committed to your privacy and protecting your information. Our privacy policy is set forth below.
We will not sell or give away your personally identifiable information without your express permission.
We do use technology (specifically, cookies) to collect information about how our site is used. You may opt out of this data collection by turning off cookies and not filling out optional forms or requests for information.
Information collected
We collect information from you when you subscribe to our email lists, respond to a survey, browse the site, or fill out a form.
How we use your information
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one or more of the following ways: 1) to improve our website; 2) to improve DRW’s service; 3) provide site traffic statistics per our requirements to funders (note that this is provided in aggregate—specific site visitor information is not shared); 4) send emails if you subscribe; 5) to communicate with you after you donate; and 6) to administer a contest, promotion, survey, poll, or other site feature.
How we get information from you
We collect information you voluntarily submit to us through forms, e-mail, polls, surveys and/or other features.
We also use cookies. A cookie can be used for authentication, storing site preferences, the identifier for a server-based session, or anything else that can be accomplished through storing text data that enables the sites or service providers’ systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
We use cookies primarily to compile data about site traffic and site interaction through Google Analytics.
Outside parties
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, or safety.
Non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties.
If you make a donation, an outside party, Salsa, processes it. Here is a link to Salsa’s privacy policy. DRW does not collect or save your method of payment information.
Third party links or links to other sites
DRW’s website contains links to other sites. These sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.

Disabilityrightswi.org does not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from or about children under 13 except as permitted by law. If we discover we have received any information from a child under 13 in violation of this policy, we will delete that information immediately.
