Disability Advocacy Day is back for 2025! This is a day-long event in-person in Madison, WI, that is focused on disability advocacy. The event connects people with disabilities with their legislators to talk about issues that matter to them.
The Survival Coalition of Wisconsin Disability Organizations organized this event.
- Date and Time: Wednesday, March 12; 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Location: Monona Terrace, One John Nolen Drive, Madison

Agenda at a Glance
- 9:30 a.m.: Check in.
- There will be opportunities for storytelling.
- Resource gathering from 9 to 10:30.
- Location: Monona Terrace, One John Nolen Drive, Madison
- 10:30 a.m.: Briefing on Survival advocacy priorities, planning time, and lunch.
- 12:15 p.m.: Rally at the State Capitol, Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd entrance (3 blocks away).
- 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.: Attend Legislative visits.
- 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Check out and debrief after your visit at the Capitol.
Registration Information
Registration is required. You must register by February 26.
There is limited space available at this event and the coalition must have time to arrange meetings with the legislators in advance. If you register, you are expected to participate in the full day of activities.
If you have a care worker that will assist you for the day, they must also register for this event.
