About the Event
Project Homeless Connect is an annual one-day event that connects people experiencing homelessness to resources and services within the community.
Services being offered are:
- health screening services
- dental and vision exams
- haircuts
- lunch
- resource fair
- health and hygiene items
- connections to employment
You do not need to register to receive services.

The event is on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Note: Get to the event before 2:00 p.m. to get services.

Bus lines you can take to the Marquette Alumni Memorial Union (AMU) are Blue Line, 10, 12, 14, 23, 30, and 31. Participants will start the event at the Weasler Auditorium.

Accessibility Information
Information for Wheelchair Users
- Wheelchair accessible doors with door buttons are located at the west and east entrances of the building.
- The Alumni Memorial Union has elevators that can access all three of its floors.
- The woman’s bathroom in room 114 and the men’s bathroom in room 108 are wheelchair accessible.
- Guests will check-in at the Weasler Auditorium, which has a wheelchair accessible entrance.
Information for Spanish Speakers
There will be Spanish-speaking Volunteer Guest Advocates that can help at the event. They plan to assign Spanish-speaking guests to these volunteers as needed.
