DRW’s Protection and Advocacy Goals and Priorities for 2025

Scrabble tiles spell the word News; a stack of newspapers is in the background

DRW has created proposed Protection and Advocacy (P&A) goals and priorities for 2025. We are looking for public input on what issues should be DRW’s focus. The goals and priorities contained in this plan identify areas upon which we expect to devote our federal P&A funding. Please note that this plan does not represent all advocacy DRW engages in on behalf of people with disabilities in Wisconsin. In addition to federal P&A funding, DRW receives additional funding from other sources, such as our Family Care and IRIS Ombudsman Program (FCIOP) which serves all people under the age of 60 who have disputes with Family Care or IRIS; our SSI-Managed Care External Advocacy project serves people enrolled in SSI-related Medicaid HMOs; and the Medicare Part D Disability Drug Benefit Helpline.

We appreciate your time and effort to help us achieve our mission. Thank you!
