Client Assistance Program (CAP)

Map of Wisconsin with acronym C A P

The Client Assistance Program (CAP) assists people with disabilities who are having questions or concerns about services through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) or who have concerns about services received through a Independent Living Center (ILC).

If you need help with a DVR or ILC related issue please contact us. You can also reach us using the CAP toll free number at 800-362-1290.

How We Help

The CAP program can provide you with information about your rights under the Rehabilitation Act including your rights to Vocational Rehabilitation Services from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.  CAP can explain the DVR processes and procedures.  We can also advocate for you with DVR and in limited circumstances help with appeals of denials made by DVR.  We can also provide you with information and technical assistance regarding your rights under Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
