Governor Evers has introduced the 2025 to 2027 Wisconsin biennial budget. The budget will decide how Wisconsin funds state programs and services in the next two years. You can comment on what you think the state should spend money on to the Joint Finance Committee in-person at a hearing. If you are not able to attend a hearing, you can send them your comments in writing by mail, e-mail, or online comment form.

About the State Budget

Governor Evers has introduced the 2025 to 2027 Wisconsin biennial budget. The budget will decide how Wisconsin funds state programs and services for the next two years. These state programs and services include mental health services, special education, long-term care, transportation, voting, and many more.

Make Your Voices Heard: How to Submit Your Comments

In-Person: Attend a State Budget Listening Session

The Joint Finance Committee will be holding listening sessions for the state budget throughout the state during April.

Plan to get there early! There is always a line. The Committee only takes comments between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 pm.

Staff members of Disability Rights Wisconsin will be at the two upcoming hearings. We hope you’ll consider joining us in sharing your priorities for the state budget!
