Environmental Chemical Sensitivities: Independence First maintains an environmental chemical sensitivities policy for the safety and comfort of people with chemical and environmental sensitivity. Independence First requests that people not use perfumed products such as scented soaps, deodorants, perfumes, colognes, and heavily scented fabric softeners while at the agency. They also request that people refrain from smoking in paths of travel and doorways.
