Disability Rights Wisconsin is now hiring for an Advocacy Specialist, who will be a part of our Information and Referral team.
About the Position
The Advocacy Specialist is responsible for:
- giving information, resources, and technical assistance to individuals with disabilities.
- collecting case information.
- investigating complaints.
- supporting self-advocacy.
They will also do administrative tasks related to case maintenance and reporting, outreach, resource compilation and organization, and systems advocacy and training.
Position Information
Full-Time Equivalent: 1.0 FTE (40 Hours per week)
Rate: $51,000 – $67,000 (annually), depending on Experience.
Location: Anywhere in Wisconsin. If the employee lives within 45 miles of a Disability Rights Wisconsin office (Madison and Milwaukee), they may work fully in-office or in a hybrid arrangement. Residency outside the 45-mile range qualifies for complete remote work. Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident.
