Share Your Priorities at Milwaukee County Budget Open House Events

capitol outline with Make your voice heard in bold text

The Milwaukee County budget plays a key role in funding transportation, mental health services, housing, services for children with disabilities, juvenile justice, and many more services that are important to children and adults with disabilities, older adults, and their families.  See the County Executive’s website for a schedule of Milwaukee County Budget Open House events hosted by the County Executive and Milwaukee County Board Supervisors.  Turn out to learn about the budget and share your priorities – and help spread the word on September 4, 6, 10, and 11!

Message from County Executive Chris Abele:

Whether you live, work or visit Milwaukee County, our budget priorities affect you – and I hope you’ll join us for an open house to learn more about the 2019 Milwaukee County budget. I’m excited to share that for the first time, we’ve partnered with the County Board of Supervisors to hold five open house sessions across the county where you can learn more about our budget process, share input on your priorities and ask some questions of County staff and officials. All of our sessions run from 5 to 7 p.m. We’ll have a short budget presentation with some Q&A at 6 p.m., but you’re free to come and go throughout the evening.

Dates and locations are listed below. I’m planning to stop by every session, and several of our Supervisors will also be attending these events.

Full details are available on our website. We also have event listings on Facebook, which will send you a reminder if you RSVP.

I look forward to hearing about your priorities for Milwaukee County.
