Webinar Information
Join the Board for People with Developmental Disabilities on Friday, February 21st, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for a Medicaid Updates and Action Steps webinar!
National disability advocates think Congress may cut federal Medicaid funding and may make it easier for states to cut Medicaid programs. You will get information you need to tell your federal and state lawmakers about how Medicaid helps you and your family and what the cuts to Medicaid would do to your services and supports.
The webinar will cover:
- the latest on what we know about proposed Federal Medicaid cuts.
- ways people like you have successfully connected with lawmakers on Medicaid.
- tips and strategies you can use to educate lawmakers and people you know about Medicaid, and what cutting it would mean for people like you.
- ideas you can put into action as an individual or part of the larger disability community to make more people aware of why Medicaid matters.
