Disability Rights Wisconsin is now hiring for a Program Attorney within our Disability Benefit Specialist Program!
The Program Attorney for the Disability Benefit Specialist (DBS) Program has primary responsibility for providing technical assistance to DBSs located in Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) on public benefits matters relevant to people with disabilities. Responsibilities include:
- providing technical assistance, caseload management, and caseload oversights to Disability Benefit Specialists.
- training Disability Benefit Specialists using effective teaching methods for adult learners.
- representing clients referred by the DBSs.
- program reporting and record keeping.
The position is based anywhere in Wisconsin, with a hybrid work arrangement option available. Applicants must be a Wisconsin resident.
The deadline is by 5 p.m. CST on February 5, 2024 to guarantee consideration for the first round of interviews. Position will remain open until filled.
