Disability Rights Wisconsin is now hiring for an Intake Specialist within our Intake team!
The Intake Specialist is responsible for the initial contact with clients looking for information and referral or advocacy services from DRW. They will perform intake functions over the phone and occasionally in-person, which include interviewing individuals to obtain information about the nature of their problem and whether it relates to one of DRW’s programs or priority area and providing information and referrals to other appropriate resources. The Intake Specialist will also participate in DRW outreach efforts to educate individuals and organizations on what DRW does and the services it provides.
This position is based in Milwaukee (preferred) or Madison, with options to work fully in office or under a hybrid work arrangement. Applicants must be Wisconsin residents.
