About the Position
The Managing Attorney will provide team leadership and coordinate our short-term advocacy and investigations work. They will:
- oversee legal, individual, and systemic advocacy work.
- provide outreach and training on behalf of people with disabilities.
- develop and implement advocacy plans.
- supervise attorneys and advocates on the team.
- manage grants.
- do advocacy quality assurance.
- support professional development of team members.
- advance strategies that drive systemic changes for the communities that we serve.
Position Information
Full-Time Equivalent: 1.0 FTE (40 Hours per week)
Starting Rate: $88,000 to $101,000 per year
Location: Disability Rights Wisconsin has offices in Milwaukee and Madison. This position can be assigned to either of these office locations, depending on the applicant’s residence. Hybrid options are available. Applicants must be a Wisconsin resident.
